Yellowcard to release new album and tour

Hoping to quell the increasing excitement for their first new music in over three years, YELLOWCARD have instead poured gasoline on the flames by releasing their new song "For You, And Your Denial" which is streaming exclusively on AbsolutePunk and is up for sale on iTunes and Amazon. In the first four hours of streaming alone, AbsolutePunk was overloaded with over 45,000 plays, while iTunes on both sides of the Atlantic saw the song explode on the Alternative Songs Chart at #4 in the US and #17 in the UK. Meanwhile, the track is currently at #11 on Amazon's Alternative Rock MP3 Downloads.

Taken from their upcoming seventh album When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes to be released on March 22, 2011 on Hopeless Records, the song is classic Yellowcard invigorated with an added dose of adrenaline.

"We are all so excited to finally give you all some new music," said the band in a joint statement. "We worked so hard on this new record, and this is just a preview of what you can expect when you get the full album on March 22, 2011. Tell everyone you know that Yellowcard is back! Enjoy the tune."

Calling this record “the product of thousands of miles of traveling to write together, hundreds of emails containing demos and new ideas, and finally, eight weeks of twelve hour studio days, working together again as a full band," Yellowcard are more than excited for the release of this album and will be celebrating its release with labelmates All Time Low on The Dirty Work Tour (dates below).

With over three million of their previous records sold, Ryan Key (vocals/guitar) and original members Sean Mackin (violin) and Longineu (“LP”) Parsons (drums) continuing with Ryan Mendez (guitar) will be joined by longtime friend of the band Sean O’Donnell (bass), whose addition has been described as a “natural fit” for the current mindset and progression of the group. When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes was produced by Neal Avron, the “sixth member of the band” who has produced three of their previous albums including their breakthrough Ocean Avenue.
