Mariachi Sensation "Aaron Nicholas" is set
to perform at the El Rey Theatre

With a voice that belts through the big band era with the same ease as when he is softly serenading his audience with a Mexican Bolero or tugging at their emotions with a Pop/Rock Ballad... He has joined the ranks of pioneer artists like Linda Ronstadt or Vikki Carr who break all boundaries of ethnicity in music. Singing in both English and Spanish with an eclectic set-list, Aaron Nicholas has had three successful shows run in the Los Angeles Basin over the last decade.
His self titled show ran from 2000-2001 in Studio City at The Ventura Court Theatre. In 2003 Aaron Nicholas was cast in the Musical "How to succeed in business without really trying". In 2004, He released a five song demo which was both in English and Spanish and contained well received covers and one original piece entitled "Saberte Amar". In 2005 through 2006 he embarked on another set of concert show dates with a show entitled "Get Happy". The show culminated with two performances at the legendary 1500 seat San Gabriel Civic Auditorium.
In 2007 headlining the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing arts at Whittier College, Aaron's show "Somewhere Down The Road" played to a sold out crowd. That show concluded with a final Performance in Pasadena headlining a Charity event for the Pasadena Aids Service Center. In 2009 under the guidance of Grammy Nominated Jose Hernandez the head of "Mariachi Sol De Mexico", Aaron Nicholas has recorded his first full studio album, a traditional Mariachi album produced by Mr. Hernandez with a fresh take on some of the most beautiful and timeless classics.
His 10 song album entitled La Memoria De Amor, is currently distributed digitally nationwide and internationally through TMG/Universal Music Group. Last year Aaron performed with Mariachi Estrella De Jalisco and Sol De Mexico Ballet Folklorico at the El Rey Theatre to a sold out house. Right off the heels of returning to Los Angeles from Miami Florida where he was the opening Act of The Latin Billboard Awards Conference, Aaron Nicholas is back at The El Rey by popular demand and will once again woo the audience with his melodic and powerful vocals.
