The Sunset Strip Music Festival Presents: The Green Children
With Special Guest Drummer Luke Holland, Live From the Roxy
Theater, August 16th


What:

Following their June residency at The Viper Room, and
numerous festivals around the world, The Green Children were
invited to headline The Roxy Locals Mixtape in West
Hollywood on Tuesday, August 16th, at 10:00pm. The Sunset
Strip Music Festival will also feature bands such as Motley
Crue, Bush, Nico Vega, and Uriah Heep.

Who:

The Green Children are Milla Sunde and Marlow Bevan, a
musical duo whose songs blend ethereal pop with post-modern
dance beats. The two European-born artists met while
attending the Liverpool Institute of the Performing Arts, an
English university co-founded by Sir Paul McCartney. Their
debut album Encounter is out now on Spinside Records, and is
distributed by ADA Global.

In an effort to raise funds for Whole Planet Foundation
(which extends the reach of microcredit to poor women),
Encounter is now available at Whole Foods Market with 100%
of proceeds benefiting the foundation.
