NoHo Arts Festival & Celebration Nov. 12

At the premier local showcase of the arts, community members and aspiring creatives can experience some of the exciting programs The Art Institute of California – Hollywood has to offer during the NoHo Arts Festival & Celebration on November 12.

NoHo is a FREE, multi-arts festival and celebration featuring live theater, dance, music, art, and food, taking place from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., in the heart of the booming NoHo Arts District on Lankershim Blvd. between Otsego Ave. and Weddington St.

The Art Institute of California – Hollywood has four activities taking place:

Interior Design Showcase
Located at the Lofts at NoHo Commons on Weddington St. #113
The Interior Design Program will showcase three dimensional computer renderings of hospitality, restaurant and loft spaces. The architectural interiors utilized 3D Autocad and Revit computer programs. The department will also present examples of student work from Lighting Design. The gallery will be open throughout the day.

“Creating Tomorrow’s Artists” Children’s Art Workshop
Located in The Art Institute Courtyard on Weddington St.
Are you the next Picasso or maybe the next Van Gogh? Children can participate in an art workshop for the opportunity to create and explore. Open from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm.

Photography Showcase
Located inside The Arts Institute of California – Hollywood campus, 5250 Lankershim Blvd.
The Digital Photography Program will showcase images of students from all levels of the program ranging from basic photo classes to advanced techniques in imaging and photo manipulation. The gallery will take place in front of the campus on Weddington St., and open all day.

Set and Exhibit Design Showcase
Located at 11128 Magnolia Blvd.
The Set & Exhibit Design Program will showcase student work of what set designs are like for television and film. Hours are from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
