A Taste of Dance – Celebrating Latino Heritage Month, The Music Center Plaza

Drum Downtown – Sunday Drum Day, Grand Park’s Flag Garden

WHY:
A Taste of Dance – Move it, shake it and taste-test a variety of styles for just $1 a lesson at this unique day of dance featuring: Afro-Caribbean | Bachata | Bomba/Puerto Rico | Flamenco | Hip Hop Reggaeton | Marinera/Peru | Samba Funk and more! No experience is necessary. Each lesson is 20 minutes long. Purchase tickets on the day of the event (cash only), on sale beginning 10:30 am while supplies last.

Drum Downtown – Celebrate the opening of all four blocks of Grand Park! Active Arts invites you to join us for Remo Rhythm Ride - a fun-filled lively drumming experience, every 20 minutes on the hour and half-hour. All skill levels are welcome, no experience necessary. Drums and other percussion instruments provided.

WHERE:
A Taste of Dance will be held on The Music Center Plaza, which is located at 135 N. Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. Drum Downtown will be held in Grand Park’s Flag Garden. Grand Park is located at 200 N. Grand Avenue and stretches from The Music Center on the west to City Hall on the east.
