Field Report on tour

Partisan Records is excited to announce that Field Report have confirmed a run of East Coast and Midwest headlining tour dates. The tour kicks off in Boston, MA at Great Scott on November 6th and wraps in the band's home state, with a show at High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI on November 17th. On their current tour with Aimee Mann, Field Report lead singer Chris Porterfield has been joining her onstage for a rendition of "Living A Lie," originally recorded as a duet with The Shins' James Mercer on Mann's new record. The full list of tour dates can be found below.

Fans across the country can hear Field Report on NPR's World Café Live next Tuesday, October 9thon their local station or streaming on WXPN. The fall tour caps off an incredible year for the band, which included breakout performances at SXSW, high-profile summer tours with both Emmylou Harris and Counting Crows, and the release of their venerated debut album.

Field Report's eponymous debut record was released in September to critical acclaim. Rolling Stone hailed the record as "enchanting...a breakout debut," while TIME Magazine, in their list of 11 "Bands You Should Know" fell for their "beautifully lyrical songs packed with poetic sentiments." Billboard found the lyrics to be "beautifully told stories," while Esquire called them " drop dead elegant." In Uncut's 9 out of 10 star review, they noted, "Porterfield has a way of entwining lyrical detail and broad sentiment that is compelling and original," while NPR called the songs "meticulous...gorgeous."
