WHAT: IKEA, The Life Improvement Store, and O, The Oprah Magazine invite consumers to an evening reception hosted by Lisa Ling on Friday, October 19, 2012, to help kick off O You! 2012, as well as to celebrate IKEA launching the third year of the “Life Improvement Project” – a program designed to provide inspiration and suggestions to help consumers make a positive impact on their homes and the lives within. At the reception, Lisa Ling, program ambassador, along with O, The Oprah Magazine contributors and members of the IKEA “Life Improvement Squad” – Amy Atlas(Entertainment Expert, Founder of Sweet Designs Blog),Susan Hyatt (Master Life Coach), Cathy Hobbs(LEED/Green Expert) and Erin Gates (Interior Designer and Founder of Elements of Style Blog) – will host a panel to share tips, stories and ideas for how consumers can improve their lives with simple changes in the home.Following the panel, Lisa and the Life Improvement Squad will interact with guests.
The reception, being held at the IKEA Covina store, is FREE and complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Consumers must RSVP toIKEA@omagonline.com by Tuesday, October 16, 2012 to attend.
