Burgeoning LA indie label Animal Style Records has launched pre-orders for two upcoming releases,Mixtapes’ How to Throw a Successful Party and Raindance’s New Blood.
Originally issued as a free bonus download with pre-orders for Mixtapes’ 2011 LP, Maps & Companions, How to Throw A Successful Party features 9 songs and will be released digitally and on vinyl as a one-sided 12", limited to 500 copies (100 yellow, 200 green, 200 blue) on October 30. It was 9 acoustic (mostly) songs and we're really happy with them. People have been asking for a while about it being on vinyl and now the time seems right, so the great Matt Medina is putting it out on Animal Style Records! It's gonna come out at Fest and be limited to 500, If you are reading this on a blog or news website I look forward to reading about how much we suck.
