Rolling Stones to offer first airplay of new single Oct. 11

The Rolling Stones are pleased to announce the WORLD EXCLUSIVE first airplay of the brand new single from The Rolling Stones, Doom And Gloom will take place on Thursday October 11th at 8:15am. on BBC Radio 2. The single can be downloaded on the same day from iTunes.

Doom And Gloom marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years. Taken from the forthcoming albumGRRR! Greatest Hits, Doom And Gloom was recorded in Paris and produced by longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Live Licks/ A Bigger Bang), with the radio mix produced by Jeff Bhasker.

GRRR! Greatest Hits, out November 13th from ABKCO/Interscope/UMe, is a must for Stones fans featuring a second brand new recording One More Shot, as well as classic tracks Gimme Shelter, (I Cant Get No) Satisfaction, Jumpin Jack Flash, Street Fighting Man, Start Me Up, Beast of Burden, Tumbling Dice, Love Is Strong and more.
