October 14 -   It’s party time as Draca returns to celebrate her birthday with a masquerade party!  Sister coordinator Saviya will charm and entertain you with her amazing creativity, along with the enchantingAileen, Bella, Reba, and Daa-Uud!     For those of you who’d rather watch than perform, please join us at Viento y Agua for another wonderful evening of great dance entertainment with a delicious Mexican mocha or other beverage or snack of your choice.  Feel free to don a mask and be a part of the fun and camaraderie!

Everyone is invited for a relaxing evening among friends.  Select your favorite beverage, hot or cold, from an assortment of coffees, teas, smoothies or juice; add to that a tasty sandwich or pastry; and then seat yourself in the entertainment area to enjoy some really great dancing at NO cover charge!  

SHIMMY SHOWCASE begins on most Sundays at 5:30 p.m. at Viento y Agua Coffee House in Long Beach at 4007 East 4^th Street; 562-434-1182.  Please refer to the detailed schedule below for more information about upcoming showcases and performance opportunities.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before show time (30 min if you’re a performer!), so you can stop at the refreshment counter to get a delicious beverage, snack or sandwich; then head for the show area and grab a seat so you don’t miss any of our great performers!

October 21   -  Coordinator Abraiha welcomes the lovelyMay, Kelsey, Liz, Shauntel and Jaquelina for another Shimmyshowcase evening of dazzling cabaret bellydancing .

October 28 –  Halloween is upon us, and Ilana returns withMeryem Vani, Tehani, Akasha Starr, and Draca and introduces new Shimmyshowcase dancer Elissa.  They come to haunt Viento y Agua once again with the annual  “Shivershowcase!”   Be sure to join us and see what thrills and chills these talented dancers will mix in with their shimmies!  

November 4 -  Amber returns to host another Shimmyshowcase event, and welcomes guest dancersSabrina, Meredith Marie, Nashua, and Rosé!   We know you’ll love all of these very talented dancers and hope you will come see them at Viento y Agua on this Sunday evening! 

November  11  -  We have openings for dancers for this Shimmyshowcase, which Draca will be hosting—and she welcomes all dancers to contact us about performing!  Please reply to this message, or send an email toShimmyshowcase@gmail.com if you would like to dance!
