The Rose City Sisters flash fiction blog is wrapping up 2009 with a contest to determine its "Story of the Year."
The public is invited to determine the seven finalists simply by reading one or more of the short-short stories on the blog before midnight on December 31, 2009. A list of story titles and descriptions is here:

Once the seven finalists are determined, the 2009 contributors will vote to choose the winner.
Submissions are now being accepted for publication in 2010. Stories must be 1,000 words or less and feature a Pasadena connection. Complete submission guidelines are here:
