Yuni to tour

 Indie songstress Yuna has announced new tour dates in October as she joins Allen Stone for the west coast dates of his Fall headlining trek.  No stranger to the road, Yuna recently opened for Michael Kiwanuka and continues to win over fans and critics alike with her flawless, soulful voice, unforgettable melodies and unique sound that transcends language and religion. The Malaysian singer/songwriter will appear with Stone from October 16 to October 25, including a stop at the historic Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on October 19.

Featuring production from the likes of award-winning UK musician Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Sia) and GRAMMY-winning hitmaker Pharrell Williams, Yuna’s self-titled debut has earned her widespread recognition, including coverage in outlets ranging from Rolling Stone to Glamour toNational Geographic. She made her national late night television debut with a performance of “Live Your Life,” the album’s Pharrell-produced first single, on Conan and also performed the single “Lullabies” on CBS This Morning.

In addition to her tour dates with Michael Kiwanuka, Yuna has wowed audiences around the world on tours with artists including David Gray, Raphael Saadiq and Emile Sande. She has also pulled in packed crowds at music festivals across the US including Bonnaroo, Capitol Hill Block Party and Lollapalooza, where she received praise on her set from outlets including the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, Billboard andHuffington Post.
