Save the Ta-tas Foundation honored

Save the Ta-tas Foundation®, a private non-profit corporation that is dedicated to battling breast cancer, has been named to a list of top-rated nonprofits by GreatNonProfits, the leading provider of user reviews for nonprofit organizations.

The Save the Ta-tas Foundation and ta-tas® Brand Clothing was created by clothing designer Julia Fikse as a way to fight breast cancer using laughter and fun as a way to fight a serious disease. Her playful line of t-shirts and accessories include messages such as “save the ta-tas” and “friends don’t let friends lose ta-tas.”

Her messages of hope and humor have reached thousands of victims and survivors of breast cancer and have helped them to fight the disease with both wit and courage. Members of Fikse’s own family had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and thanks to the inspiration of their journey and her belief that a positive spirit helps the fight, the idea for ta-tas Brand Clothing was born.

“We have met and volunteered with thousands of women to battle breast cancer and to raise awareness for the disease, and it is so rewarding that those same volunteers and supporters have voted Save the Ta-tas as a top nonprofit by the GreatNonProfits organization,” Fikse said. “It is our goal to fight breast cancer at every stage and to raise funds to research this disease and to help find a cure.”

The Save the Ta-tas Foundation is committed to supporting breakthrough cancer research with the Concern Foundation. The entire list of top-rated GreatNonProfits is available at http://greatnonprofits.org/reviews/issues/health/.

“We are gratified to be able to honor Save the Ta-tas for its work on behalf of breast cancer issues,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonProfits. “Save the Ta-tas deserves to be recognized from their community of stakeholders.”

Customers who want to further support ta-tas Brand Clothing can also look for the new Premium Ta-tas® tees at www.savethetatas.com , which will launch this summer and will be available in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.
