Young Love Records artists Setting Sun and Quitzow are midway through their successful summer tour of North America, so to celebrate and thank their fans, we have a new single from each to share with you!
Setting Sun's “The Sympathetic CEO” is a playful, tongue-in-cheek ode to those responsible for our current financial predicament in America. Gary Levitt, the brainchild behind Setting Sun, wrote the song from the perspective of a CEO who has profited off other peoples’ expense…until the recession hits, at which point he turns inward and becomes introspective about his role in the collapse. Consider the song as a narrative of his thoughts, if you will.
Quitzow is also releasing “Whatever,” from her latest release Juice Water. Be forewarned though, this song isn’t exactly politically correct, or for the faint of heart! The track is simultaneously an anthem, and a critical satire of the “Me” generation. “Whatever” caps off Quitzow’s wild ride of a party record, by presenting pop culture at its rawest, most depraved, and most fun. Enjoy!
