"Smooth-as-silk harmonies and a jangling guitar mean The Tumbling Tumbleweeds are in the house!" -Michelle Mills, Los Angeles Daily News

The date is Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at the Museum of the American West at Griffith Park and admission is FREE. For more information go to www.theautry.org

Although this is the 6th Annual National Day of the Cowboy, it is the Autry Center's first time hosting an event commemorating the occasion. Sponsored in the U.S. Senate in 2005, 2006, and 2007 by Wyoming's late U.S. Senator, Craig Thomas, the National Day of the Cowboy is a day set aside for Americans to celebrate the contribution of the cowboy and cowgirl to America's culture and heritage.

Tumbleweed Rob of The Tumbling Tumbleweeds says, "We are so honored to have been asked by the Autry to participate! It was only three years ago that we showed up there for the Western Music Association's monthly jam session, never having been seen by anyone there yet all the while hoping someday to be able to perform at this historic place. We couldn't be more thrilled to be doing so now!"
