IT'S A ROCK BAND!
Announcing the birth of a brand new rock band out of Los Angeles, California named 13 Curves, weighing in at 513 lbs. It's debut CD "Underground" featuring the single "Riding In My Car" will be released this Tuesday, November 13th by the band's indie label, 13 Records. It will be available for purchase worldwide on the band's website: http://www.13curves.com/.

13 Curves has a dynamic sound that molds multiple musical styles into a surprisingly hard rocking mix. The band's hook-filled song writing and it's focus on strong musicianship is sure to set them apart from other bands on the national scene. Although it's a new band, they have played extensively together in different combinations backing up many of the world's biggest music stars on stages all over the globe and in the studio. "Underground" is the world's first chance to hear these guys strut their stuff and to watch them take over the spotlight.

The band is fronted by lead singer and guitarist Ben Mauro who is originally from Syracuse, New York and came up playing in the rock clubs of New Jersey and the R&B clubs of New York City. Since moving to Los Angeles, Ben has worked with many of the music industry's highest profile stars. Next is an amazing drummer named Oscar Seaton from Chicago, Illinois. Oscar's musical upbringing found him playing with many of Chicago's top gospel and jazz artists which has made him one of the most in-demand musicians in LA on stage and in the studio. Rounding out the band on bass and bringing an authentic southern swagger to the musical dynamic is Gary "Scruff" Davenport. Scruff is a monster player who is also from Syracuse, New York. Before moving to Los Angeles he made his mark as a top session and live player in the legendary music city of Memphis, Tennessee. Together, the group's mix of influences brings a fresh and unique sound to rock 'n' roll. Their debut CD "Underground" was written and produced solely by the members of 13 Curves, mixed by Grammy winner Ted Greenberg and mastered by the legendary Bernie Grundman.
