Los Angeles Ballet to celebrate second season

Los Angeles Ballet celebrates its 2nd season on the Southern California cultural landscape with its 2nd Annual Art for the Arts Fundraiser/Art Auction featuring a special performance coordinated by the Company’s acclaimed artistic directors Colleen Neary and Thordal Christensen. The sneak preview performance features Los Angeles Ballet dancers Corina Gill, Marcelo Gomes (Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre) and Rainer Krenstetter (Soloist with Staatsballett Berlin).

In addition, a live fine art auction and silent auction will feature works of renowned artists including Ed Ruscha, Ed Moses, John Baldessari, Renee Petropoulos, Jennifer Steinkamp and many more.

WHY Los Angeles Ballet is the city’s own professional ballet company, and with the Company only being in its second season, many artists and local supporters have contributed their art and time to benefit the Los Angeles Ballet.

Launched in 2006 by artistic directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, Los Angeles Ballet enjoyed a successful first season as the city’s own professional ballet company focused on capturing the creative aesthetic unique to Southern California.
