MxPx's Mike Herrera hits the road with country project

Mike Herrera may be best known as the frontman of MxPx, but his solo project Tumbledown is the flipside to MxPx's distinctive punk rock sound. Herrera's country music project may have been a long time coming, but it's definitely worth the wait.

This month, Tumbledown hit the road for their first-ever tour with a full band. Herrera will bring a new sound to an old tradition in songs about heartache, good times and life on the road. Herrera will also be performing MxPx songs done in a whole new way, joined by the Trotland brothers--Harley (drums) and Marshall (stand-up bass and fiddle)--as well as Jack Parker (acoustic guitar). A 6-song download card featuring artwork from the infamous Oliver Peck as well as a 2-song picture disc will be available on the tour.
