Mediaskares’ Belay My Last will be hitting the road again for a tour with Dead to Fall, Winds of Plague, and Impending Doom this January/February. Having completed a successful run with As Blood Runs Black (Mediaskare); Belay is continuing on with the fierce, ceaseless touring.

Belay My Last released their full-length debut album, The Downfall, through Mediaskare Records in fall of 2007. This album includes thirteen original tracks, over fifty minutes of some of the most adept metal tracks to decimate the scene today. The Downfall will also include a music video along with tour and studio footage as an added fringe benefit. Belay My Last draws influences from The Red Chord, Between the Buried and Me, Despised Icon, and The Black Dahlia Murder. With the release of their debut album, the band will be hitting the road for many national tour dates.

Forming in Fullerton, California in 2003, Belay My Last came together aspiring to break out of the underground scene and bring their music to the forefront of the industry. Their songs are an impeccable fusion of brutal and melodic harmonies that have you invariably questioning what’s next to come. The musical content of this album is unparalleled and will entice any fan of amply composed music.

Belay My Last are no rookies to the road, having toured with the likes of Necrophagist, Cattle Decapitation, and The Faceless, all prior to the release of their debut album. Their unhinged live shows match the album’s intensity flawlessly. Members have been hospitalized on many occasions due to the raucous stage antics. “We believe that when you go to a show, what you see is as important as what you hear”, explains bassist Garrett Harer. Belay My Last is no band you would want to miss out on. Check out The Downfall, and catch them on tour this January with Dead to Fall.

“This is brutal, at times very technical death/grindcore, full of pummeling guitar riffs, bellowing death grunts, mind-blowing guitar solos, and precision drum blasts”. – Pete Pardo from Sea of Tranquility.

“The Downfall includes over 50 minutes of some of the most uncompromising and bruising metal this year has seen”. – Ray Henry from Mouth For War.
