Songsalive! is a partner of ASCAP's "I Create Music" EXPO for the second time. As it has since its extraordinary introduction in 2006, the 2008 EXPO promises to bring together the world community of leading songwriters, composers and music publishers with emerging music creators for three days of education, innovation and inspiration. The ASCAP EXPO grew from more than 1,800 attendees in 2006 to nearly 2,500 attendees in 2007. While the music landscape continues to experience great change, ASCAP's "I Create Music" EXPO provides the music creator community with a way to help shape its future. Knowledge is power, and the EXPO puts that power in attendees' hands by providing them with valuable information, skills and insight gained from panels, master classes, workshops, exhibits, interviews and keynotes and special live performances from some of today's top writers, composers, producers and music experts.
