Dave Morrison in Topanga July 18

Hey All,

Well some of you must be wondering, "What's with Dave and Topanga?". And it is true that I seem to be out there a lot lately. Just went out there yesterday for an afternoon Partay, as a matter of fact. But the truth is, I just love it there. It's always like a little vacation for me. Close to home, but somehow a world apart.

And our dear friend Marilyn Babcock is really turning into a friend of the whole So Cal acoustic music community. You remember the Larry Wines benefit we did last year? Well that was Marilyn's production, and it got her thinking that a regular series should be going on at the Community House. It really was a great day. God ... the food alone was worth twice the admission, and the joint rocked all day.

She has been working ever since to establish this as an on-going thing, and this is the first show of the series. It's a huge effort on her part, and we salute her. We need more like her, who see the possibilities and get to work creating something joyous and beautiful.

I am attaching a Flyer. The show goes from 3:30 pm till 8pm. A big, generous show. And as we like to do, we will be cooking too, so prepare to be fed.
