A “SHAGGY CHIC” TOAST TO SOME L.A. PUPS!
Why people around the country are raising their glasses to two lucky California dogs

Georgia had been shuffled through many homes and given multiple names. Brooklyn had suffered from a badly wounded and infected eye. But, when these down and out pooches caught the eye of Redondo Beach pet lover, Jessica Brown, they became lucky dogs! The adorable pups were adopted from a local shelter and found their forever home with Jessica.
Now, the stories of Georgia and Brooklyn are being shared with the entire country through Dog Lovers Wine Club. Photos of the pets have been illustrated on beautiful wine labels. The July featured wine with their photos and stories will be shipped to Dog Lovers Wine Club members around the country.
The Dog Lovers Wine Club mission is to blend wine with philanthropy. The boutique winery, based in California, supports The Humane Society of the United States and other dog shelters and rescues around the country. Jessica’s story was chosen after she sent in photos and shared her stories about Georgia and Brooklyn. She says, “I am so grateful to anyone who spotlights rescue dogs. I am getting married in August and am planning to have several bottles at the wedding for decoration!”
The July wine featuring Georgia and Brooklyn is a 2005 Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County. Each month, a different pet story, photos and carefully crafted premium wine are shared with Dog Lovers Wine Club members. A unique way to celebrate life with dogs, the wine shipments also include tips about dogs, courtesy of The Humane Society of the United States. Members also receive tasting notes about the wine, the source of the grapes and recommended food pairings.
Dog “parents” are invited to submit photos of their dogs and tell us their story at http://www.dogloverswineclub.com/ . Every month a new story will be chosen. Your pet’s photo and story could be shared with dog lovers across the country on our next wine label!
