Olivia announces k.d. lang as their headlining act for its first cruise in 2008. Olivia customers will set sail with k.d. lang for one exclusive show prior to leaving for the Caribbean cruise on January 26, 2008.
“We are thrilled about entering our 35th year with k.d. lang as the featured entertainer. We have an amazing line up of entertainers joining us on this trip and will be announcing new acts every few weeks until the ship sails,” said Judy Dlugacz, Founder and President of Olivia.
Earlier this year, Olivia announced the creation of “traveltainment” platforms, trip themes that allow travelers to get completely immersed in particular trips unique offerings. For example, Olivia guests will not only get the opportunity to see k.d. lang perform but the cruise will include moments of her musical career, from in-cabin videos to free CDs for all guests.
