Tokoyo Rose tours in support of upcoming release

TOKYO ROSE is ready to hit the road in support of the upcoming full-length album The Promise in Compromise out July 31st on SideCho Records. The New Jersey-based rock group has created an energetic, guitar-driven collection of songs that is undoubtedly the most upbeat and polished album to date. Starting July 3rd you can get The Promise in Compromise on iTunes for just $9.90. Plus, if you download the whole album you automatically get three free unreleased Tokyo Rose songs.
The catchy first single “We Can Be Best Friends Tonight But Tomorrow I’ll Be…” is a lighthearted take on sharing intimacy with female concertgoers only to hit the road a few hours later. Stream the track, along with two other new songs, on the band’s MySpace page now - www.myspace.com/tokyorose.
"The Promise In Compromise is neither a broken promise nor a sonic compromise. It is 11 songs of Tokyo Rose at full throttle. I don't remember the last time I was so impressed by a band's sophomore release. There is nothing I would change about this CD except maybe include more songs."-Gus Peña, Chord Magazine
"Lots of bands try it but Tokyo Rose has successfully figured out how to blend all different styles and influences together to come up with their own great sound."- Anthony Raneri, Bayside
“The new album The Promise In Compromise from Tokyo Rose is... something that music has beenmissing. With unique vocals and melodies that are stuck in your head [right down] to catchy riffs--it keeps you wanting more. From... the diversity, clarity, and beauty of this album it is clear that thisis their best effort to date.”- Senses Fail
The band kicks off its tour July 11th in Erie, PA with Bedlight For Blue Eyes and Sound The Alarm. After the East Coast dates, they head west to join up with The Vans Warped Tour beginning August 15th in Kansas City through August 25th in LA. Tokyo Rose will be taking part in this year's Warped Tour mash up contest powered by Fliptrack. Be sure to check out www.fliptrack.com as well as the official Warped Tour website for details. If you are hitting one of the many Warped dates, don't forget to pick up this year's comp CD.
