Skindred to release album in October

Ragga-Punk-Metal outfit SKINDRED have set October 23rd as the release date for the band's second album entitled "ROOTS ROCK RIOT". The group plan to release the first single from the effort "RAT RACE" in the coming weeks, with a radio impact date to shortly follow.
The recording of "ROOTS ROCK RIOT" was completed at BIELER BROS. STUDIOS in Pompano Beach, FL with producer Matt Squire (PANIC AT THE DISCO) and was mixed by Rick Will (BABYLON). The album will feature twelve tracks sure to take hardcore SKINDRED fans to a whole new level."ROOTS ROCK RIOT" will be the follow-up to the bands groundbreaking, breakthrough, debut album, "BABYLON", which tallied over 250,000 albums sold and featured the smash single "NOBODY" and it's successful follow up "PRESSURE". During the time of Babylon's release, SKINDRED toured the world exhaustively with the likes of KORN, CHEVELLE, BREAKING BENJAMIN, HIM, SEVENDUST, PAPA ROACH, SOULFLY and also appeared on the mega DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL; where SKINDRED frontman Benji Webbe took over vocals for KORN to perform their legendary song, A.D.I.D.A.S.
SKINDRED have kept a low profile stateside while writing the new record and touring their native UK. That will change upon the release of "ROOTS ROCK RIOT" as the band has extensive tour plans in the works.
"ROOTS ROCK RIOT" will be released October 23rd through Bieler Bros. Records
