Madina Lake on tour with Papa Roach, Linkin Park and more

When Chicago's MADINA LAKE released their Roadrunner Records' debut From Them, Through Us, To You in the Spring, they probably didn't think that in the Summer, their momentum would be dang near impossible to stop. With tour dates with Papa Roach currently in motion, the boys will jump onto the highly-anticipated Projekt Revolution Tour with Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Mindless Self Indulgence, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, etc. before jumping over the Atlantic for headlining dates in Europe with Envy on the Coast, Halifax and My American Heart where they're either selling out the venues (Oct. 2nd's show at Manchester Academy is already sold out) or being moved into even bigger venues.
But it's not just about the tours for these Chicagoans. Their second single "Here I Stand" is on a big buzz forward. It goes for adds in mid-July but the video, which was directed by Dori Oskowitz (Nickelback) has already been generating steam. It has been locked down for the prestigious "Unleashed Video of the Day" on MTV2 on July 9th where it will be broadcast at the top of every video block hour for the whole day. The previous video for "House of Cards" is currently enjoying a massive jump in spins on Music Choice "On Demand". Following their participation in AOL Breakers, the band was invited to record acoustic live performances for a Sessions “Under Cover,” currently being promoted online at AOL.com.
With the money that the Leone twins won from their conquering of the gross-out competition show Fear Factor, Madina Lake pulled together a set of demos that would eventually get them signed to Roadrunner Records. From Them, Through Us, To You, the Chicago quartet's first major label release, debuted at #3 on the New Artist Chart and continues to build in steam. Nathan and Matthew Leone, along with bandmates Mateo Camargo and Daniel Torelli have crafted what Outburn calls "a polished to perfection collection of pop-punk and pop rock anthems."
Metal Edge chimes in, describing it as "vibrant vocal harmonies are all across the record, while the overall riffs on it [are] done with taste and easy to remember," while The Aquarian chimes in with "a dense sort of pop, both bright and mournful."
With Projekt Revolution up ahead, they have no intentions of slowing down. The brainchild of Linkin Park, The Projekt Revolution Tour is launching its fourth year in existence. Madina Lake will be playing the Revolution Stage alongside such far-ranging acts as Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled and Styles of Beyond. The Monster Energy Drink and Major League Baseball-sponsored tour will commence on July 25th and end on September 3rd, affording a diverse roster of bands the opportunity to reach out to the masses.
“Projekt Revolution is exactly the tour a band like ours dreams of doing,” Matthew Leone states. “It has a diversity that won't brand us to a specific scope of music and we get to watch some of our favorite bands every day!"
So get ready for the summer and set sail on Madina Lake. It's going to be a trip you're definitely going to remember.
