Hear Baroness' first preview track

BARONESS has posted the first preview track, “The Birthing”, from their first proper full-length album and Relapse debut, Red Album. “The Birthing” can be heard now exclusively via the band’s MySpace:

BARONESS recorded Red Album at the Jam Room in Columbia, SC with Phillip Cope (of KYLESA). The record was mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound and is set for a September 4th North American release date (September 10th internationally). The CD is available for pre-order now at The 12” vinyl of Red Album will see its release roughly the same time courtesy of Hyperrealist Records.

Additionally, BARONESS has unveiled a recently re-designed website: Please visit and/or the band’s MySpace for the latest news and tour dates around Red Album’s release.
