Enjoy country concerts and other fun at home

As summer heats up, CMT returns for a second year to what is billed as the “world’s largest music festival” – CMT AT SUMMERFEST 2007 – for three, one-hour concert specials featuring country music favorites. CMT’s Lance Smith hosts these three concerts featuring Sugarland, Saran Evans and Big & Rich. Summerfest 2007 celebrates 40 years of music this June, when thousands of fans descend upon Milwaukee, Wisc. for 11 straight days of live music from across all genres.

In a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, aspiring artists compete for a chance to perform as Sara Evans’ opening act in the new CMT special, BIG BREAK. In the half-hour special, dozens of artists audition, but only one is given the chance to take the stage before one of country music’s biggest stars at her concert in Asheville, N.C. Premieres Saturday, August 4 at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT

TRICK MY TRUCK (episode 3) PREMIERE!
CMT’s famed series TRICK MY TRUCK returns for a third season when the Chrome Shop Mafia, a down-home crew of truck mechanics, take their creativity to a new level in eight new episodes. Eugene Jackson, from Little Rock, Ark., always wanted was to raise a large family and own a business. After years of dedication and hard work, he’s done just that -- raising four children and founding OCW Jackson’s, a truck and towing company located in Little Rock, Ark. Recently, his wife of 22 years passed away. Since her death, Eugene is even more focused on family -- putting his two daughters through college and making his sons partners in his business. Everything he’s done has been for his children, and now they want to say thank you. Be sure to catch all the action, as the guys take Eugene’s beat-down Peterbilt wrecker and turn it into the last line of defense for stranded truckers everywhere. COUNTRY FRIED VIDEOS (episode 5) PREMIERE!
Comedian Bill Engvall is back with an all new season of COUNTRY FRIED HOME VIDEOS, the series that shows what everyday Americans do for fun and 15 seconds of fame. CMT presents another heaping helping of hilarity with new episodes of viewer-generated video moments that run the gamut of insane stunts involving dirt bikes to inventive uses for RVs in each 30-minute episode, with one video awarded with Engvall’s infamous “Here’s Your Sign” cash prize at the end of each episode. Premieres Friday, August 3 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT

CMT MOVIES: ERNEST GOES TO CAMP CMT PREMIERE!
A group of juvenile criminals is sent for vacation to Kamp Kikakee. The clumsy Ernest (Jim Varney) has to care for them, although he doesn't even know how to take care of himself. The other children at the camp show enmity against them, but the group knows very well how to defend themselves. They do also help the Indian owner of the camp when a brutal mining corporation wants to tear down the camp to mine a rare mineral. Premieres Saturday, August 4 at 6:00 p.m., ET/PT
